The Chrome Curved Heated Towel Rail 1150mm x 600mm is a medium-sized, highly efficient towel radiator with a heat output of 580 Watts (1,980 BTUs), enough to dry towels and small items of clothing, and sufficient to heat a small bathroom, en-suite room, cloakroom or kitchen.

This superior quality, steel ladder rail is plated with high quality chrome and features 25 horizontal rungs (22mm diameter), arranged in 3 groups (4, 6, 15). Suitable for all household heating systems, the 1150mm x 600mm heated towel rail connects to your heating system just like a standard radiator and works in exactly the same way. Also suitable for use with a Thermostatic Electric Heating Element from BestBathrooms.com.

This highly attractive and very practical, minimalist chrome towel rail makes a stylish centrepiece to any modern bathroom, shower room or kitchen, at an affordable price. The curved bathroom towel rail is supplied complete with a fixing pack for wall mounting.

BTU Calculator

Radiator efficiency, is measured in British Thermal Units (BTU). The dimensions of a room are used to calculate the BTU output required to heat that room. Radiators all have a known and calculated BTU output. Using the BTU outputs in the Product Specification or description above, it is easy to calculate the size of radiator you need to help provide the total heat output necessary for your room.

How to calculate BTU requirement

The best way is to ask your plumber to perform the calculation for you. If you don't have access to a plumber, you can use the BTU Calculator below as a guide. Please note that the calculated figure relates to the combined heat output of all radiators in the room, therefore the towel rail or radiator that you purchase need not satisfy the entire BTU output if it is used to complement existing radiators.
