Description

This is a deck-mounted/wall mounted thermostatic shower tap, with diverter, which feeds a bath filler or minimalist slider rail kit. Constructed from solid brass, the Thermostatic Shower Valve is a top quality bar shower valve, which features easy-grip tubular controls and a high quality chrome finish.

Featuring durable and dependable ceramic disc technology, this shower valve supplies water, at a pre-set temperature, to a shower handset, slider rail kit, rigid riser kit or fixed head shower. It also features an anti-scald device that shuts off the hot water should the cold water supply fail.

The Chrome Thermostatic Bar Shower Mixer is compatible with combi boilers, gravity fed systems, unvented mains pressure systems and shower pumps, as long as the operating pressure is between 1.0 and 4.0 bar. The shower hose connection is below the tap and is a 1/2" male connection.

This is a lovely thermostatic tap for the money, much better quality than the last one I had (not from bestbathrooms) as we already had the pillars in place from the last tap it was very simple to fit. These taps are brilliant if you have a combi boiler as the temperature stays the same when using the shower. Very pleased with this purchase and will use bestbathrooms again in the future. Very fast delivery too, even over the Christmas period.

Excellent product. If replacing separate taps make sure you connect hot and cold correctly because the existing pipework may not match the position of the inputs to the mixer.

I was very impressed with next day delivery service.
The tap works very well with my combi boiler system and gives a brilliant shower, far superior to my electric one. The temperature is steady when someone else runs water and I estimate I am getting twice the flow at half the price.
I am worried that the way the assembly is cantlievered forward on the mounting pillars is puttin a strain on the edge of the bath, this is why it does not get 5 stars.

The tap assembly Ref TSXX268 arrived well packed and in good time.
As it happened the fitting was the same as the old one I was replacing, so it was on and working within about 10 minutes and it works really well.
I have seen similar taps for up to nearly 4 times the price, although some did include the shower hose and head, probably worth £20.
So all in all I cannot fault Trueshopping.co.uk and they will be one of the first sites I will check for further purchases.
Summary; Good Service, Good Value for Money.
