A Guide to Bathroom Heating

You want your bathroom to be hot. With a bit of updating here and upgrading there it can look hot as well.

No one likes the idea of tiptoeing in to a cold bathroom on a chilly Monday morning. The room should be snug, cosy and welcoming. It may be a bit nippy outside but in your little watery haven it should be warm.

Designer Radiators

Designer radiators not only belt out the heat they transmit style and elegance as well. Fashion and function combined in a beautiful piece of engineering.

For the fashionista a contemporary bathroom needs designer radiators that make a statement. There is a lot of nonsense written about the performance of the designer radiator.

It is said that it does not pump the heat out as well as a normal radiator. This simply is not true. They work just as efficiently as any other type of radiator.

Just because they look fantastic it does not mean they are less efficient. Perhaps those people who say this are a tad jealous of these swanky heaters. They just look too good.

All sorts of shapes and sizes are available and they really make help to make your bathroom look and feel so much better. You almost feel warmer just looking at them.

Heated Towel Radiators

Some heated towel rails can do more than just keep your favourite fluffy towels warm and dry. They could also be used to heat a small en-suite bathroom.

An electric towel rail is ideal when the central heating is turned off to provide heat during the summer months.

As you would expect there are all sorts of designs from the contemporary to the conventional. It just needs to fit in with the rest of your bathroom.

Underfloor Heating

An increasingly popular option to heat up the bathroom is to use underfloor heating. If you are sensitive to a cold floor after a bath or shower then this form of heating is definitely worth investigating.

This hidden heat source will delight the family as it keeps the room nice and warm. The heat gravitates to the centre of the room so it will always feel perfectly pleasant.

Electric underfloor heating can work out to be a cheaper option than radiators. Because it is more efficient in emitting its heat it keeps the room just as warm whilst using less energy.

If your bathroom is always warm you will probably never want to leave it.
