It may be hard to believe but 2000 years ago the Romans had a heating system that was more efficient, luxurious and cost effective than some of the systems we still employ today.
For the vast majority of history the traditional way to heat a room or building has been a central fire in the middle, or a fireplace built into the side of a wall. When you think about it, our modern radiators aren’t that much different and share many of the same inefficiencies and faults that enclosed fireplaces had thousands of years ago. Continue reading »
