Prior to installation please ensure that the water supply is OFF.
Please ensure that you have nominally equal water pressures to ensure an ideal water blend temperature is maintained. This product is suitable for use on water supply pressures between 0.5 bar and 10 bar. At extreme high pressures it may be necessary to reduce the flow rates via the isolating valves. For safety purposes, a pressure reducing valve fitted in the incoming mains supply line may be required.
Plan out the positions of the 3 holes for the valves and tee connector. Each hole needs to be a minimum of 35mm diameter (maximum 42mm), but the distance between each hole can be to the user's preference.
Ensure there is adequate provision for securing the pipework to the rear of the stud wall.
Remove the collars from the valve assemblies.
Fit the two valves and the tee connector through the holes from the rear.
Connect the pipework to the valves and tee connector. It is not necessary to align the components horizontally, as each can be rotated as required to suit the pipe runs.
Secure the pipework with pipe clips.
Screw the collars on to the valves from the front.
Fit spout collar and flange on to spout.
Tile or finish front wall as required.
Screw spout assembly in to tee connector using PTFE tape to ensure correct alignment.
Push spout flange and collar up to finished wall.
Push valve flanges over valve collars up to finished wall.
Attach handles to valves by means of the snap-on clip or screw, depending on model.
Turn the valves to open position.
Open the isolating valves (not supplied).
Turn on water supply and allow to run for a few minutes to flush out any debris.
Carefully check for leaks.
Make sure that the taps are open and there is appropriate drainage available. Switch on the Hot and Cold water and allow to flow for 15 seconds (min). Turn off the Hot and Cold water and remove the spa. Restore the water and flush clean the spa and then replace it.
Alternatively fit isolator valves in line with each fitting. Close all isolators and ensure there is appropriate drainage available. Switch the water on, open each tap and open each isolator and let it run for 15 seconds. Turn off the water with the tap handle and remove the spa. Flush cleanse the spa and then replace it.
If not already fitted and to comply with good plumbing practice, and water supply (water fittings) regulations, we strongly recommend you fit service isolating valves on the hot and cold pipes. This also enables you to isolate the tap should servicing ever be required.
To maintain the appearance of your filler or mixer tap fitting, please ensure it is cleaned regularly using a clean soft damp cloth only. Abrasive cleaners or detergents must not be used as they may cause surface deterioration.
